Dutch PM Says Trump Is Taking the Wrong Tone Towards Zelenskyy, Ukraine

Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten criticized U.S. President Donald Trump’s rhetoric toward Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, saying Trump was not using the “right language.” He spoke before the second day of an EU summit in Brussels. Jetten said he understood Zelenskyy’s pushback, noting Ukraine has endured years of war and Russia’s Vladimir Putin has shown no willingness to negotiate. He said Europe would help keep diplomatic efforts on track and support Ukraine. He expected no specific additional aid commitment yet.
