At least 15 people, including five children, were killed in drone strikes on Jari 2, a camp for displaced people in Ethiopia’s Amhara region, two rescue sources said. Thirty-six were injured. The camp houses more than 1,700 people who fled violence; survivors are sheltering in a school. The strikes occurred amid conflict between government forces and a rebel alliance, but sources said there was no fighting nearby at the time. It was unclear who carried out the attack or why.
