Deli Serdang, Indonesia—The local police department successfully took two violent perpetrators into custody on Thursday following a disturbing incident that sparked widespread outrage in the community. The two men were arrested after they went on a rampage and assaulted a couple who were simply attempting to pass through their neighborhood.

The victim, who was pregnant at the time of the attack, expressed her gratitude toward the authorities for their rapid response. She noted that the police acted with urgency to locate and apprehend the individuals responsible, preventing further potential harm in the area.

During questioning, the suspects admitted to the assault, claiming they were agitated by a brawl occurring nearby and feared the incident would be recorded and shared online. When the victims attempted to bypass the commotion, the perpetrators forced them to confront the scene.

The violence escalated when one of the suspects kicked the pregnant woman in the stomach as she reached for her cell phone. The same individual was also found to be in possession of an air gun, which he used to threaten the victims before they could leave.
