Ukrainian FP-5 “Flamingo” cruise missiles struck a defense-related plant in Volgograd, according to Ukrainian reporting.
The strike was described as hitting a major defense enterprise involved in producing launchers for Russia’s strategic missile systems, including Yars and Topol-M, as well as launchers for the Iskander-M tactical ballistic missile system.
Ukrainian officials said the missiles “successfully struck” the target, while the full extent of damage was still being clarified.
