Cuba to Release Over 2,000 Prisoners as US Pressure Mounts

Cuba's government confirmed that it has begun pardoning 2,010 prisoners, including young people, women, and individuals over the age of 60. The announcement specified that those released would not include individuals convicted of severe crimes such as murder, sexual assault, or crimes against public order.
