A former Cornell student, identified in court filings as Jane Doe, alleges she was drugged and sexually assaulted at the Chi Phi fraternity house in October 2024. Cornell investigated the allegations and held at least 12 disciplinary hearings in 2025. Reports say two students were expelled, while others received suspensions, probation or educational assignments; the fraternity was barred from campus. Cornell says it handled the case under university policies but cannot disclose individual disciplinary records. The allegations are now the subject of a civil lawsuit.
