Clashes between Kurdish militants and Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) began Thursday and continued into Friday in western Iran, centered on Shaho Mountain. Iranian forces reportedly used heavy artillery and drones to strike the rugged area. The Kurdistan Human Rights Network said troops deployed equipment and drones near Daleh Marz village, targeting the Dasht-e Qalb area. Local sources also reported that authorities restricted access to parts of the range and that suicide drones were used. Officials had not confirmed the reports at publication.
