BRICS foreign ministers have strongly condemned the April 2025 Pahalgam terror attack, which killed 26 civilians, and called for united action against terrorism. In their joint statement, ministers described terrorism as criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of its motivation, location, or perpetrators. They reaffirmed commitments to combat terrorist financing, cross-border movement, and safe havens, while insisting terrorism must not be linked to any religion or nationality. The ministers also urged accountability, international cooperation, and a zero-tolerance approach respecting human rights.
