SINGAPORE — A dramatic vehicle fire erupted in the heart of Tampines, reducing a car to a charred frame despite a torrential rainstorm pouring over the estate.

The unusual sight of bright, roaring flames standing out against heavy rainfall shocked nearby onlookers and prompted a rapid deployment from emergency responders.

According to eyewitnesses and preliminary reports from local authorities, the incident occurred along a busy residential stretch in Tampines as heavy rain swept through the area.
