The Comoros-flagged vessel Khoryv sank in the Black Sea after a suspected drone strike near Romania’s coast, leaving one sailor dead, three missing and nine rescued. It carried 13 people—10 Ukrainians and three Azerbaijanis—when Romanian authorities received a distress call around 10 a.m. Coast guard and rescue services searched for the missing crew. Heavy rain and poor weather hampered efforts to deploy a helicopter. Officials have not confirmed the cause or origin of the attack. The ship was reportedly traveling from Turkey toward Sulina.
