Berlin Pride Attack Suspect Shot and Killed During Police Operation

A suspect in the deadly Berlin Pride (CSD) attack has been shot and killed by police officers during an operation in Spandau, west Berlin. Police say officers encountered him in a leafy area as he moved toward them with a knife, and they used firearms to stop him. Authorities say the threat had been contained and that they were not looking for any more suspects, though they have not ruled out copycat attacks. The incident follows a Saturday van attack and stabbing spree that killed one woman and injured dozens.
