Belgian student strikes gold worth €9m while digging a new sewer

An 18-year-old Belgian student working a summer job at a building site found a trove of gold worth an estimated €9 million while digging trenches for a new sewer system. He said workers initially thought they had unearthed 1-euro coins, but quickly discovered gold bars, coins and nuggets bricked inside a cellar wall under a former brewery property.
