Alex Kiprotich, an associate editor with Kenya’s Standard Group, was abducted from a car near Nakuru by four armed, masked men. He was later found safe near Masinga Dam, more than 200 kilometers away. His employer said the incident appeared connected to his journalism and followed an earlier attempted seizure.
