A Greek couple welcomed a baby girl born from an embryo frozen for more than 22 years, months after losing their 21-year-old son in a road crash. The mother, 54-year-old Cristina Rapti-Tzelepi, underwent treatment before reaching Greece’s age limit for IVF. The couple named their daughter Georgia in honor of their late son. Her birth has offered the family a moment of joy after devastating grief, with her father describing the child as a way out of their deepest darkness.
