Rio de Janeiro, Brazil—Two helicopters collided in mid-air over the city's western district on Sunday morning, killing all six people on board. The impact occurred above a car dealership in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood. Debris rained down on a parking lot filled with electric vehicles.

Firefighters arrived at the site shortly after 9:00 a.m. to find the wreckage of one helicopter engulfed in flames. At least twenty parked vehicles caught fire as a result of the impact. Black smoke rose high enough to be visible from several kilometers away.
