Suspect in Berlin Pride Attack Shot Dead by Police in Berlin Suburb, Broadcaster Says

A broadcaster in Berlin reported that police shot and killed the suspect linked to the city’s Pride (CSD) attack during an operation in a Berlin suburb. Authorities said officers confronted the man while they were responding to the unfolding incident and that the suspect posed an immediate threat, including carrying a knife. Police said there was no longer an active danger and that they were not looking for additional suspects, though the investigation continued. The earlier attack had killed one person and injured others.
