Sudanese Army Drone Strike Kills 35 at Traditional Court in North Darfur, Rights Group Says

A Sudanese rights group reported that the Sudanese army (SAF) struck a traditional court in a village held by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in North Darfur on Sunday using drones. The group said the attack killed 35 people, including civilians gathered at the court. It added that several others were injured and that rescue teams were unable to reach the site quickly because of ongoing fighting nearby. The report reflects recurring accusations on both sides of war crimes and violations, as communities face repeated attacks, displacement, and breakdowns in basic services across Darfur.
