The French Air and Space Force announced it has completed its participation in NATO Baltic Air Policing in Lithuania. The deployment supported the alliance’s routine air-defence task over the Baltic states, including readiness to intercept aircraft that fail to comply with air-traffic rules or safety procedures. During the period, French personnel and fighters operated alongside other NATO air assets contributing to continuous coverage in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. France said it would hand responsibilities back to the next participating nation as the mission rotated.
