A passenger ferry in Indonesia caught fire while traveling off the main island of Java, officials said. The Mutiara Sentosa 2 was carrying 232 passengers and 39 crew members from Surabaya in East Java to Makassar in South Sulawesi when the fire broke out near Sumenep regency, according to search-and-rescue agencies. By Sunday afternoon, rescuers had pulled 225 people to safety and recovered five bodies, while at least 41 remained unaccounted for. The cause is under investigation.
