US, UK, Ireland: Sevenfold Spike in Attacks on Indians Abroad in 5 Years

India’s Ministry of External Affairs says attacks on Indians living abroad rose nearly sevenfold over five years, climbing from 15 incidents in 2021 to 104 in 2025. The US recorded the highest number of attacks in the period (33), followed by the UAE (32), the UK (31), and Canada (30). The data covers 36 countries and regions and totals 302 reported instances between 2021 and 2025. India said missions remain vigilant and raise cases with local authorities.
