Coffs Harbour, Australia—The search continues for 13-year-old Malakai Marks, who was last seen in Coffs Harbour on the evening of July 4. Officers from the Coffs Clarence Police District initiated a formal search after family members were unable to reach the teenager. Police have noted that his age and the duration of his disappearance have raised significant concerns for his immediate safety.

Malakai was last spotted on Woodland Hill Drive at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Local patrols have been searching nearby parks and transit routes throughout the day, but as of Tuesday afternoon, no credible sightings have been confirmed. Police are now expanding the search perimeter to include surrounding bushland and residential areas.

The teenager is described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, standing about 150cm tall with a thin build. He has brown hair styled in a distinct rat’s tail and brown eyes. Officers are requesting that anyone with security cameras or doorbell footage in the Woodland Hill Drive area review their recordings from Saturday night.

Local community leaders have joined the call for information, encouraging anyone who might be sheltering or housing the boy to contact authorities immediately. The focus remains on a safe return for the young teenager. Family members have been assisting police with descriptions of his known acquaintances.
