Ukraine Could Use Its Own Ballistic Missiles Against Russia by Year-End

Ukraine could begin striking Russia with domestically produced ballistic missiles by year-end, a former defense minister said in an interview. Mykhailo Fedorov told CBS Ukraine may be able to launch the missiles in three to six months, depending on production and deployment readiness. He framed the effort as necessary to defeat Russia across each “technological cycle.” Ukrainian production has faced challenges including interceptor shortages, while testing and certification work continues to move capabilities toward operational use.
