A passenger bus carrying Polish tourists overturned early Sunday on the M3 motorway in eastern Hungary near Mezokeresztes. Hungarian police said 12 people were killed and at least 10 others were injured. State media reported 57 passengers and two drivers were on board. Police said preliminary information suggested the driver may have fallen asleep, and the driver was taken into custody. Polish officials said those on the bus were Polish citizens and that consular services were coordinating with Hungarian authorities.
