Russian “Banderol” Missile Crosses Into Moldova, Explodes Near Tălmaza

Reports say a Russian “Banderol” small cruise missile with a jet engine crossed from Ukraine’s Odesa region into Moldova during a strike. Moldovan authorities said the missile entered Moldova’s airspace and exploded near the area of Tălmaza, with damage reported to property. Ukrainian sources linked the incident to an ongoing Russian attack and said the trajectory shifted unexpectedly across the border. Moldova condemned the incursion as a violation of its sovereignty and said investigations are continuing into fragments found at the site.
