Drones produced in Canada are set to support the Ukrainian military, thanks to a corporate collaboration between Canadian company Sentinel R&D and Ukrainian company Airlogix. This joint venture was formalized between the defense ministers of Canada and Ukraine during the recent CANSEC defense trade show held in Ottawa.

Both companies will manufacture drone systems in Canada aimed for deployment in Ukraine. This initiative builds upon a letter of intent signed last fall, which focused on co-producing defense technology across both nations. As drone technology rapidly evolves amidst the ongoing Ukraine-Russian conflict, these systems are expected to play a critical role on the front lines.
